Rebecca Hargis, LCPC

Rebecca was the Chair of Elevate Montana Helena Affiliate from 2016 to 2023. She currently serves as their master trainer. Rebecca is a retired Child & Family Therapist. She worked for Youth Homes 2006 to 2017 in the Dan Fox Family Care Program in Helena as Clinical Supervisor, Treatment Manager, Family Support Worker, Wraparound Facilitator, Birth Mother Counselor and Family Developer. She is a registered facilitator of Circle of Security-Parenting. Rebecca has a personal interest in advancing Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences science because of her own traumatic childhood. When not advocating for PACE education she is camping and hiking with her dog and best buddy, Jack.

Barb Reiter

Barb is a former educator of 25 years. In 2008 she began to work as a Prevention Specialist in Jefferson County, MT.  This work has afforded her the opportunity to provide youth from preschool to High School experiences and information about making healthy choices.  In addition to work with youth Barb has provided parents, school personnel and community members information about substance misuse and tools to address this very pertinent topic. 

Beth Demmons, SWLC

Beth is a clinical counselor and community educator at Carroll College in the Wellness Center where she provides evidence-based clinical counseling to students individually and in group settings helping them survive and thrive. Beth comes to the counseling world with over 24 years of military experience as a retired Air Force officer.

Madison (Maddie) Diederichs

Maddie is a Child Care Health Care Specialist within the Early Childhood and Family Support Division, DPHHS, supporting the mental health of infants, young children, their caregivers, and child care providers. She has previously filled various roles addressing child welfare within the Child and Family Services Division.

Sarah Robinson

Sarah is a Provider Network Service Team Leader in Helena Montana, with PacificSource Health Plans,  a regional commercial and Medicare Advantage payer.  She has been a part of health insurance and health care in Montana for over twenty years.  Sarah leads her team in provider education and community support across Montana.  Sarah has volunteered for Intermountain Children’s Home and been a part of Festival of Trees in various ways since 2002.  She also worked at Shodair Children’s Hospital in Helena.  Sarah is an advocate for health equity and behavior health access for all. She is passionate about sharing tools and resources to educate communities about ACEs and resilience.

Trina Filan

Trina has worked in many sectors - public, private, universities, non-profit. She has experience in addressing issues around lack of housing, early childhood education and development, diabetes prevention and management, heart health, community development and organizing, sustainable agriculture, business development, and education. She’s a fun facilitator who will make this material accessible and pertinent to your needs.

Jaymie Hazel

Jaymie has worked for Rocky Head Start supporting families since 2007. She is a registered facilitator of Circle of Security Parenting and a Mental Health First Aid Instructor. She has a passion for finding the opportunity in adversity and building strong communities through relationships.

Shelly McClain

Shelly has been in the Early Childhood Education field for over 30 years. Her passion is working with staff, children, and families to give them the tools to be successful regardless of their abilities or life challenges. Shelly is the mother of 4 awesome children ages 9. 29, 31, and 35 years old, and a nana of 3 beautiful grandchildren. She loves the outdoors, being on the water or snow, and working the family cherry orchard.

Amy O’Leary

Amy has been working in the mental health field for 10 years. She has worked at lntermountain Children's Home as a direct care staff, was an intern student in the Wellness Center at Carroll College, and most recently, is a family care therapist at Youth Homes (where she has been since January 2020). Amy has primarily worked with kids and their families who have a history of anxiety, depression, and trauma. She has a BA in psychology and graduated from Walla Walla University in 2019 earning her masters of social work. When not at work, Amy spends time with her two beautiful kids.

Mariah Maxwell

Mariah is a Parent Educator, ACES/Trauma101 and LSOC Trainer. Her passion for ACEs and PCEs is apparent in her interactions with Clients. As a former educator, working with others helps fill her cup. She is a grandma and mother who enjoys beading, sewing and attending pow-wows.

Deverie Kelley

Deverie is a graduate of University of Montana with a MSW and is a dually licensed LCSW and LAC. She has experience working in a variety of settings, corrections, both in- and out-patient with adults and children. Deverie is committed to helping people make positive changes for themselves, their families and their communities.

Jennifer Filipovich

Jennifer Filipovich is the ERSEA (Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance) Specialist for Rocky Head Start, serving children and families in Lewis and Clark, Jefferson, and Broadwater Counties.  Jennifer started with Rocky Head Start as a Family Advocate.  She was a parent education instructor for four years prior to coming to Rocky Head Start and has worked for Community Action Agencies as a staff person or as a Board Member since 2005.  Jennifer has been active with Elevate Montana Helena Affiliate since 2021.  Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, running, traveling, and serving her cats.
